Metro 3rd EOC goes full swing
The Metro 3rd Emergency Operations Center officially started Sept 28, putting in place a Telemed or Online Consultation hotlines and hotlines for other COVID-19 concerns.
The Metro 3rd EOC has a Quick Response Team on standby for swabbing, contact tracing and patient transport capabilities.
On its first week of operation, several patients and callers have already been served and the QRT has already swabbed a total of 433 patients, broken down as follows:
Sept 30 – 51 patients as part of the Silay City Targeted testing initiative where 300+ persons were swabbed.
Oct 1 – 83 patients were swabbed consisting of individuals who were contacted traced, expecting mothers (as part of their requirement), and employees going back to work (also required).
Oct 2 – 299 PNP trainees from Iloilo, assigned in Murcia, were swabbed. *
